There is no contradiction in using the words “tradition” and innovation” to describe the Blancpain philosophy.
On the contrary, both are closely interwoven at the very core of brand history.
Loyal to a time-honoured tradition, Blancpain cultivates and develops the tried and trusted handcrafted methods of mechanical watchmaking. Far from the world of assembly line production, each Blancpain watch is assembled from start to finish by a single watchmaker.

BLANCPAIN: A TRADITION OF INNOVATION SINCE 1735

Much as watches were made two centuries ago, the movement components are painstakingly finished and decorated by hand, in keeping with the noble art of horology.
While never veering from its Vallée de Joux heritage, Blancpain offers a contemporary interpretation of the designs, complications and methods of previous centuries.
