TRADITION 7047 Grande Complication ~ Tourbillon à fusée

La ligne TRADITION reçoit cette année sa première grande complication, dont la spécificité s’inscrit avec justesse et évidence au sein d’une collection visionnaire et audacieuse.

Le garde-temps 7047 met effectivement en scène un spectaculaire mécanisme de tourbillon à fusée.
Une création à remontage manuel, calibre Breguet 569, dont la technicité parle d’elle-même et qui a, par ailleurs, fait l’objet d’une demande de brevet concernant la réserve de marche : indiquée en regard de 10h, elle bénéficie d’un système à différentiel réducteur permettant son affichage à même le tambour du barillet.
L’importante dimension de ce dernier a en outre permis aux horlogers d’y loger deux ressorts séparés.
Enfin, le balancier BREGUET en titane a été breveté en 2004.

Le dispositif de transmission fusée-chaîne a la propriété d’ optimiser la régularité de marche de la montre en lui garantissant un couple constant, quelque soit son niveau de remontage (le ressort-moteur d’une montre mécanique présente d’habitude différents couples selon le degré d’armage). De forme conique, la fusée contient un engrenage différentiel qui transmet au mouvement une force continue : lorsque la montre et le barillet sont complètement remontés et bénéficie nt donc d’une grande force de traction, la chaîne, qui relie le barillet à la fusée, agit sur la plus petite circonférence de la fusée ; a contrario, lorsque le barillet n’est remonté que partiellement et perd donc de son couple, la chaîne s’enroule sur la plus grande circonférence de la fusée. Le système de remontage est en outre perfectionné par une roue de couronne à denture frontale qui en améliore nettement la sensibilité.

The first grande complication timepiece joins the TRADITION line this year. Its truly unique design suits to perfection the collection’s visionary character. Breguet timepiece 7047 features a spectacular fusee tourbillon mechanism. It comes equipped with the technically sophisticated handwound Breguet calibre 569, whose power - reserve device is the object of a patent application. Positioned opposite 10 o’clock on the dial, it features a reducer differential construction enabling the power reserve to be displayed on the barrel drum, itself large enough to hold two separate mainsprings. Lastly, its BREGUET titanium balance was patented in 2004.

The fusee-chain transmission system improves rate regularity by guaranteeing the movement a constant couple whatever the winding tension of its mainsprings (a mechanical watch mainspring’s couple generally varies in step with its degree of wind). The cone-shaped fusee contains differential gears that transmits continuous force to the movement: when the mainsprings are fully wound and traction strength is high, the chain linking the barrel to the fusee winds around the narrowest part of the fusee; when on the contrary the mainsprings are partially slack and their couple ebbing, the chain will wind around the broadest part of the fusee.

The winding system has been further improved by the use of a column wheel with frontal toothing that markedly improves its responsiveness.
