Flying B, Breitling for Bentley

La Flying B ne surprend pas seulement par ce design rectangulaire, premier boîtier «de forme» dans la collection Breitling for Bentley. Elle se distingue également par son mode d'affichage original, avec un mécanisme à heure sautante où l'aiguille des heures est remplacée par un disque à 12h.
La lecture de la minute s'effectue de manière plus conventionnelle grâce à l'aiguille unique placée au centre du cadran. Quant à la seconde, elle s'affiche sur un petit cadran excentré à 6h.

The surprising nature of the Flying B stems not just from this rectangular design, the first “shaped” case in the Breitling for Bentley collection.
It is also distinguished by its original display mode featuring a jumping hour mechanism in which the hour hand is replaced by a disc at 12 o'clock.
Minutes are read off in a more conventional way by means of a single hand placed at the dial centre. Meanwhile, the seconds are shown on an off-centred subdial at 6 o'clock. Like all models in the Breitling for Bentley collection.
