Rolex Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master II
Equipée d’un compte à rebours programmable à mémoire mécanique, l’Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master II est une complication horlogère novatrice et inédite, basée sur une interaction entre le mouvement et la lunette. Elle permet au skipper de programmer la durée du compte à rebours précédant le départ de la régate, de 1 à 10 minutes. Une fois le compte à rebours enclenché, le skipper peut au besoin synchroniser son chronographe avec le décompte officiel de la course.
Le principe fonctionnel de la montre repose sur une invention majeure : la lunette RING COMMAND, exclusivité conçue et développée par Rolex. Tournante sur 90° et interagissant avec le mouvement, elle sert à mettre en oeuvre puis à verrouiller la programmation du compte à rebours. Le mouvement 4160 qui équipe la montre, entièrement conçu et fabriqué par Rolex, est doté du spiral PARACHROM, dix fois plus résistant aux chocs et insensible aux champs magnétiques.
Le compte à rebours est commandé par une roue à colonne et un embrayage vertical.
Certains microcomposants de ce mouvement unique sont fabriqués par UV-LiGA. Cette nouvelle technologie entièrement maîtrisée en interne par Rolex permet de fabriquer des composants d’une finesse ou d’une géométrie impossibles à obtenir selon une technique traditionnelle.
Le boîtier du modèle Yacht-Master II, taillé dans un bloc d’acier 904L extrêmement résistant à la corrosion, présente toutes les vertus d’étanchéité propres aux montres Oyster, notamment grâce à sa couronne de remontoir TRIPLOCK, vissée contre le boîtier telle un sas de sous-marin. La lunette et les mailles de centre du bracelet sont en or EVEROSE 18 ct, un alliage exclusif conçu et fabriqué par Rolex dans sa propre fonderie.
Le disque CERACHROM bleu de la lunette, pratiquement inrayable et inaltérable, est lui aussi breveté et fabriqué par Rolex.
Equipped with a programmable countdown with a mechanical memory, the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master II is an innovative and pioneering watchmaking complication, based on interaction between the movement and the bezel. It allows the skipper to programme a regatta countdown sequence from 1 to 10 minutes. Once the countdown has been launched, the skipper can, if necessary, synchronize his chronograph to the official race countdown.
Its functions depend on a major innovation: the exclusive RING COMMAND bezel, designed and developed by Rolex. Rotatable through 90° and interacting with the movement, it serves to initialize and then lock the countdown programming. The model’s 4160 movement, entirely designed and developed by Rolex, is fitted with a PARACHROM hairspring, 10 times more resistant to shocks and insensitive to magnetic fields.
The countdown is operated by a column wheel and a vertical clutch. A number of microcomponents in this unique movement are produced by UV-LiGA – a new technology, entirely mastered in-house by Rolex, which enables the production of components whose fineness or geometry makes them impossible to manufacture by traditional means.
The Yacht-Master II’s case, stamped from a block of 904L steel extremely resistant to corrosion, offers all the qualities of waterproofness that have made the reputation of Oyster watches. Not least thanks to its TRIPLOCK winding crown, which screws down tightly against the case like the hatch of a submarine.
The pink gold of the bezel and the bracelet’s centre links is 18 ct EVEROSE gold, an exclusive alloy developed by Rolex and manufactured in its own foundry.
The blue CERACHROM bezel insert, virtually impervious to scratches, corrosion-resistant and non-fading, is also patented and manufactured by Rolex.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Special Edition
D’emblée, l’or EVEROSE 18 ct du boîtier, du bracelet et de la lunette donne le ton : cet alliage spécifique à Rolex ensorcelle par son éclat et par sa noblesse intrinsèque.

Dazzlingly delicate, the GOLDUST DREAM dial is a subtle, refined marriage of white or black mother-of-pearl and gold dust. The mother-of-pearl is embellished with a new nature-inspired motif and an exquisite design in pink gold dust applied in a fine layer via a patented PVD process which preserves the mother-of-pearl’s natural structure while giving it a highly original metallic sheen.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer II
Son boîtier élargi à 42 mm abrite le nouveau calibre 3187 entièrement conçu et fabriqué par Rolex. Celui-ci intègre les dernières technologies brevetées de la marque, telles que les amortisseurs de chocs PARAFLEX et le spiral amagnétique PARACHROM, assurant une fiabilité et une résistance aux chocs inégalées.
Le bracelet est équipé d’un nouveau fermoir de sécurité OYSTERLOCK avec rallonge de confort EASYLINK. Sur le cadran, l’aiguille 24 heures retrouve la flèche à bâton et la couleur orange du modèle original de 1971.
Sur la version à cadran noir, les aiguilles des heures et des minutes, plus larges et plus lisibles, ont une base également noire, se fondant ainsi avec le cadran pour un effet « fantôme » de la partie luminescente des aiguilles, qui semblent flotter sur le cadran – autre clin d’oeil au modèle historique.
L ’aiguille des heures est réglable de manière indépendante par saut, offrant une fonction GMT en conjonction avec l’aiguille et la lunette 24 heures.
Its case, enlarged to 42 mm, houses the new calibre 3187 entirely designed and manufactured by Rolex. The movement includes the most recently patented technologies of the brand, such as the PARAFLEX shock absorbers and the non-magnetic PARACHROM hairspring, ensuring unparalleled reliability and shock resistance.
The bracelet is equipped with a new OYSTERLOCK clasp with safety catch and the EASYLINK comfort extension link. On the dial, the 24-hour hand has returned to the arrow shape and the orange colour of the original 1971 model.
The hour and minute hands are broader and more legible, and, on the black-dial version, their black base blends with the black dial to create a “phantom effect”. The luminescent sections of the hands seem to float over the dial – another nod to the historic model.
The “jumping” hour hand can be set independently, providing a GMT function (second time zone), in conjunction with the 24-hour hand and bezel.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona
Avec sa nouvelle lunette monobloc CERACHROM noire en céramique high-tech – pratiquement inrayable et inaltérable, une exclusivité développée par Rolex –, cette nouvelle interprétation de l’Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona combine haute technologie et clin d’oeil historique à son héritage légendaire. Sa lunette noire évoque en effet celle du modèle de 1965.
La graduation de la lunette CERACHROM, d’une lisibilité parfaite, est obtenue par un procédé PVD de pulvérisation cathodique magnétron d’une fine couche d’or rose.
Ce chronographe haute précision certifié par le Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) est motorisé par le calibre 4130 introduit en 2000, un mouvement à roue à colonne et embrayage vertical entièrement conçu et fabriqué par Rolex.
Son architecture révolutionnaire, issue d’années de recherche, offre une complexité réduite pour une fiabilité nettement accrue. Concentré d’innovations Rolex, ce calibre est doté d’un spiral PARACHROM à courbe terminale Breguet, forgé dans un nouvel alliage développé et fabriqué par Rolex qui le rend insensible aux perturbations magnétiques et jusqu’à dix fois plus résistant aux chocs.
L’esthétique sophistiquée de ce nouveau modèle est soulignée par les matières nobles qui l’habillent : son boîtier Oyster en alliage d’or EVEROSE 18 ct élaboré par Rolex, son cadran chocolat ou ivoire avec appliques en or et son confortable bracelet en cuir d’alligator noir avec boucle déployante à fermoir de sécurité en or EVEROSE 18 ct.
With its new, exclusive monobloc black CERACHROM bezel developed by Rolex – made of an advanced ceramic virtually impervious to scratches, corrosion-resistant and non-fading – this new version of the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona exhibits state-of-the-art technology and pays homage to its legendary heritage. Its black bezel is reminiscent of that of the 1965 model.
The graduations on the CERACHROM bezel, offering perfect readability, are obtained by the deposition of a fine layer of pink gold via a magnetron cathode sputtering PVD process. This high-precision chronograph certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) is driven by calibre 4130, introduced in 2000, a movement with a column wheel and vertical clutch entirely designed and manufactured by Rolex.
Its revolutionary architecture, the fruit of years of research, has reduced its complexity and increased its reliability. A profusion of Rolex innovations, calibre 4130 is equipped with a PARACHROM hairspring with a Breguet overcoil. The hairspring is manufactured from a new alloy, developed and produced by Rolex, which makes it insensitive to magnetic fields and up to 10 times more resistant to shocks.
The new model’s sophisticated aesthetics are underscored by the noble materials used in its construction: the Oyster case in 18 ct EVEROSE gold, an alloy created by Rolex; the chocolate brown or ivory coloured dial with gold hour markers; and the comfortable strap in black alligator leather with an 18 ct EVEROSE gold folding clasp and safety catch.
