LE “ CHRONOMÈTRE BLEU ”

Le CHRONOMETRE BLEU innove avec un boîtier de 39 mm. réalisé pour la première fois en Tantale, métal rare d’une tonalité gris anthracite légèrement bleuté. Le Tantale est un métal fabuleux et très peu utilisé en horlogerie car il est dur et difficile à travailler, avec une très haute température de fusion à 3'000° et une densité de 16.3.
Le Tantale est également précieux car il offre une résistance parfaite à la corrosion et à l’usure. En parfaite harmonie avec la couleur de la boîte, le cadran a été repensé dans un esprit tendance en bleu chrome. Les aiguilles F.P.Journe, assorties aux larges chiffres Arabes de couleur crème, marquent les heures, alors que le guillochage de la seconde à 7h30 fait ressortir l’effet miroir du cadran.
A travers le fond transparent, le balancier et l’échappement sont mystérieusement détachés du mouvement, battant la mesure sans force motrice apparente. F.P.Journe a placé le rouage sous le cadran, en ne laissant que la roue de centre pour souligner le splendide isolement du balancier.
Le mouvement mécanique à remontage manuel du CHRONOMETRE BLEU oscille au rythme de 21,600 alternances par heure. Deux barillets, selon la configuration classique des montres de précision, opèrent en parallèle afin de fournir une force stable durant la plus grande partie de son autonomie totale de 56 heures. Le balancier chronométrique sans raquette F.P. Journe, à inertie variable répartie sur quatre poids placés en opposition, subit un réglage dynamique dans six positions différentes.

The CHRONOMETRE BLEU is innovative with its 39 mm case made for the first time of Tantalum, a rare dark grey metal with blue overtones. Tantalum is a wonderful metal but rarely used in watchmaking as it is hard and very difficult to manipulate, due to its very high fusion temperature of 3000° and a density of 16.3.
Tantalum is also precious as it is highly resistant to corrosion and wear. The chrome blue dial is in perfect harmony with the colour of the case in a contemporary spirit. The F.P.Journe hands, matching the large cream-coloured Arabic numerals, mark the hours while the guilloché seconds dial at 7:30 enhances the mirror effect of the main dial.
Through the transparent back, the balance and escapement appear to be mysteriously detached from the movement, beating with no apparent motive force. F.P.Journe has placed the connecting train under the dial, leaving only the centre wheel to highlight the isolation of the balance.
The manually wound movement of the CHRONOMETRE BLEU oscillates at 21,600v/h. Twin barrels, in the classic configuration of precision watches, work in parallel to deliver stable power for much of its 56-hour full autonomy. The F.P.Journe free-sprung chronometer balance with inertia adjustment on four opposing weights is dynamically adjusted to six positions, with an emphasis on constancy of rate.

La OCTA PERPÉTUELLE, 8ème création de la collection porte ainsi parfaitement son nom et enrichi la collection du premier calibre à remontage automatique signé F.P. Journe –Invenit et Fecit. Nouveau défi réussi que celui d’y insérer cette fois un calendrier perpétuel, dans le même espace.
Pièce anniversaire, la nouvelle OCTA PERPÉTUELLE Titane célèbre l’implantation du réseau de Boutiques F.P.Journe à travers le monde, avec le 5ème anniversaire de la première Boutique F.P.Journe à Tokyo.
Produite en série Limitée de 99 pièces, son boîtier exceptionnellement réalisé en titane pour cet anniversaire est habillé d’un cadran Ruthénium sur Or.
Le mouvement à remontage automatique est manufacturé en or rose 18 ct, comme celui de toutes les créations F.P.Journe –Invenit et Fecit.
Il est construit sur le calibre exclusif 1300.3, avec indication rétrograde de la date, un guichet pour les jours, et un deuxième guichet pour les mois avec indication de l’année bissextile inscrite dans le mois de février.

Produced in Limited Series of 99, its case is exceptionally manufactured in Titanium for the occasion and is completed with a Ruthenium on Gold dial.
The automatic winding movement is manufactured in 18K rose gold, like that of all F.P.Journe –Invenit et Fecit watch creations. It is constructed on the exclusive OCTA calibre 1300.3, with retrograde date indication, an aperture for the day, another for the month, with indication of the leap year within the month of February.
