Admiral’s Cup Minute Repeater Tourbillon 45

Le fruit de ces années de travail est un chef d’oeuvre de micromécanique de 14 lignes ¼ - soit 32 mm de diamètre - et de seulement 5.35 mm d’épaisseur, auquel un remontage manuel assure une réserve de marche de 72 heures.
Sa terminaison a également fait l’objet de toutes les attentions : chaque surface est entièrement finie à la main, les mobiles cerclés, les aciers polis miroir au zinc - notamment ceux des marteaux et du pont de tourbillon - la platine perlée et les ponts décorés de Côtes de Genève.
Afin précisément de mettre en valeur le mouvement qui l’anime, Corum a choisi de remplacer son cadran par une glace saphir fumée, traitée PVD. Cette glace permet d’admirer l’extrême complexité des mécanismes de répétition minutes et de tourbillon. Son traitement de couleur grise, souligné des flammes nautiques monochromes sur le rehaut, confère à l’ensemble une élégante sobriété.
Toujours sur cette même glace sont gravées en contraste les mentions « Corum », « Minute Repeater » et « Tourbillon » et sont disposés chiffres et index dorés. Le boîtier de 45 mm de diamètre en or rouge 18 carats est reconnaissables entre tous par sa fameuse lunette polie satinée à 12 pans.
Sur ce modèle anniversaire, la lunette recèle en outre une fonction cachée. En effet, pour une telle pièce sportive, il était trop risqué de laisser dépasser de la carrure de la boîte le verrou d’armage de la répétition minutes, ce dernier étant susceptible de s’accrocher et d’endommager le mécanisme. L’Admiral’s Cup Minute Repeater Tourbillon 45 a donc été construite avec une lunette ingénieuse qui elle-même sert à armer la répétition minutes, ceci grâce à une simple rotation de 27 degrés dans le sens horaire.
Préservant la pureté des lignes de la boîte et la sécurité du mécanisme de sonnerie, ce système original confère à la pièce une étanchéité à 30 mètres.

The result of these intense years of craftsmanship is a micromechanical masterpiece of 14¼’’’ – with a diameter of 32 mm – and a thickness of only 5.35 mm, which ensures a hand-wound power reserve of 72 hours.
The finishing was also the object of attention: each surface has been finished by hand; circular-grained components, black polished steels – in particular the strike-hammers and Tourbillon Bridge - circular-grained decoration of the plate and Côtes de Genève finish of the bottom bridges.
In order to specifically highlight the movement behind it, Corum replaced the dial with a smoked PVD treated sapphire glass allowing the wearer to admire the extreme complexity of the minute repeater and Tourbillon mechanisms.
Its grey colored treatment, outlined with monochromatic nautical flags on the fitted flange, confers elegant sobriety to this timepiece. On that same sapphire glass engraved in golden writing are «Corum », « Minute Repeater » and « Tourbillon » as well as golden index chevrons and minute numbers.
The 45 mm diameter case in 18kt red gold is immediately recognizable thanks to its legendary polished and satin finished twelve-sided bezel.
This jubilee model has a bezel containing a hidden winding function. For such a sporty model it was indeed too risky to have the minute repeater’s push-piece extending out which might get caught and potentially damage the mechanism.
The Admiral’s Cup Minute Repeater Tourbillon 45 has therefore been manufactured with a specific bezel which winds the minute repeater function by rotating the bezel 27 degrees clockwise.
Keeping the pureness of the case line and the integrity of the ringing mechanism, this ingenious system offers water-resistance up to 3 atm.

Romvlvs Tourbillon

En 2008 Corum lançait un calendrier perpétuel et un calendrier annuel rétrograde dans la collection, cette année c’est une Romvlvs Tourbillon qui voit le jour. Au coeur de la pièce bat un mouvement mécanique à remontage manuel à la vitesse de 21'600 vibrations par heure doté d’une généreuse réserve de marche de 130 heures.
L’absence de cadran révèle toute la beauté du mouvement traité de PVD noir. Platine et ponts sont ornés de Côtes de Genève, accentuant l’élégance classique de ce garde-temps d’exception.
La finition satinée soleil et le traitement PVD noir du rochet et de la roue de couronne illustrent l’attention que porte CORUM aux détails et finitions.

In 2008, CORUM launched a Perpetual Calendar and a Retrograde Annual Calendar. This year CORUM unveils a new high complication in the collection, the Romvlvs Tourbillon.
At the heart of the timepiece beats a mechanical hand-wound tourbillon movement at the speed of 21,600 vibrations per hour endowed with a long lasting power reserve of 130 hours. The absence of dial reveals the beauty of the black PVD coated movement. Bottom plate and bridges are graced with Côtes de Genève finish, enhancing the classical elegance of this exclusive timepiece.
The sun-brushed and PVD coated ratchet and crown wheels demonstrate CORUM’s traditional watchmaking know-how.

Golden Bridge Black Titanium

La collection Golden Bridge s’enrichit d’un modèle traité de PVD noir, mariant la délicatesse de la boîte en glaces saphir avec la robustesse du titane, matériau également réputé pour sa légèreté. Dans cette pièce d’exception, la modernité de la boîte titane contraste avec le classicisme et la finesse de l’authentique mouvement baguette.
Le noir profond de la boîte avec finition satinée accentue les reflets d’or du mouvement gravé main, un calibre emblématique de la marque. Ponts et platine sont taillés dans l’or 18kt et rehaussés des aiguilles des heures et minutes squelettées noires. La conception du mouvement linéaire à remontage manuel avec une réserve de marche de 40 heures.

The Golden Bridge collection is enriched with a black PVD coated titanium model, marrying the delicate case conception cut from transparent sapphire crystal with the strength of the titanium, also known for its lightweight properties. In this timepiece, modernity and technicality of the titanium case responds to the classicism and finesse of the authentic baguette movement.
Challenging the limits of technicality, CORUM features titanium Grade 5 for the watch case as it is the most difficult to manufacture but also the only grade which offers different polishing designs. The Golden Bridge Black Titanium stems from the talent and precision skills of the watchmaking artisans to conceive this hand-wound linear movement bearing a 40-hour power reserve.

Ti-Bridge

En levant le voile sur ce second mouvement maison, CORUM entre dans une ère nouvelle.
Le calibre linéaire CO 007 s’inspire de l’emblématique calibre Golden Bridge… pour mieux s’en éloigner. Si la forme est en effet reconnaissable, les dimensions, les composants et les caractéristiques techniques sont différents et témoignent de son esprit résolument contemporain.

Les ponts sont satinés tandis que l’imposant barillet présente une finition brossée colimaçonnée. Battant à une fréquence de 4 Hz, le calibre CO 007 dispose d’une confortable réserve de marche de 72 heures.
Intimement lié au calibre puisqu’il est lui aussi taillé dans du titane grade 5 - le seul permettant des finitions polies - le boîtier galbé de forme tonneau affiche des dimensions de 42,5mm sur 41,5mm.
Arborant une large glace saphir bombée sur la partie supérieure, il présente un fond satiné rehaussé en son centre d’une glace saphir rectangulaire ouverte sur le mouvement. Traitée PVD noir, cette glace tamise la vision tout en laissant deviner l’entrelacs des rouages.
Présentant une confortable cambrure et étanche à 50 mètres, le boîtier alterne des parties polies sur le dessus et satinées sur les côtés.
Le mouvement est notamment maintenu à l’intérieur du boîtier par deux jeux de croisillons en titane, du plus bel effet visuel. Vissés sur le rehaut lui-même intégré au boîtier, ils participent à la consolidation de l’ensemble et contribuent à l’esthétisme du modèle.
Imprégnées de Superluminova, les aiguilles squelettes garantissent une bonne lisibilité nocturne.

In unveiling its second in-house caliber, CORUM is entering a whole new era. The CO 007 movement is clearly inspired by the legendary Golden Bridge caliber, while giving a whole new twist to the original concept.
Whereas the shape is immediately recognizable, the dimensions, the components and the technical characteristics are all completely different and testify to the resolutely contemporary spirit of the CO 007.

In both its movement and case, the Ti-Bridge gives pride of place to titanium, a material known for its lightness and the difficulties involved in machining it.
The bridges and plates of the Caliber CO 007 are cut from this ultra-modern material. The meticulous finishing on all movements is typified by the upper bridge engraved with the “CORUM” brand name. The bridges are satin-finished, while the generously sized barrel features a snailed finish. Equipped with a balance oscillating at the speed of 4 Hz, Caliber CO 007 is endowed with a 72-hour power reserve. Intimately linked to the movement in that it is also made from grade 5 titanium – the only kind that can be polish-finished – the curved tonneau-shaped case measures 42.5 mm by 41.5 mm.
Topped on the upper part by a large convex sapphire crystal, the case has a satin-finished case-back enhanced by a central rectangular sapphire window revealing the movement. This black PVD-coated crystal subtly filters the view of the movement, offering tantalizing glimpses of the interlacing pattern of its inner workings. Comfortably cambered and water-resistant to 50 meters, the case is graced with alternating surface finishes – polished on top and satin-finished on the side.
The movement is secured inside the case by a set of two titanium “cross bars”. Screwed to the flange, which is itself integrated within the case, they contribute to consolidating the whole construction and to enhancing the aesthetic quality of this model.
The openworked Superluminova coated hands guarantee optimal nocturnal visibility.

 

Black Ti-Bridge

100% noir extrême! La célèbre Ti-Bridge s’habille de noir pour les fêtes de fin d’année. Tant pour son mouvement que pour son boîtier, la Ti-Bridge fait la part belle au titane, matériau réputé pour sa légèreté mais aussi pour les difficultés qu’il pose en termes d’usinage.
Les ponts et platines du calibre CO 007 sont taillés dans ce matériau ultra moderne. A l’instar du pont supérieur traité de PVD noir et gravé du nom « CORUM », les composants du mouvement font l’objet de finitions soignées. Les ponts sont satinés tandis que l’imposant barillet présente une finition brossée colimaçonnée. Battant à une fréquence de 4 Hz, le calibre CO 007 dispose d’une confortable réserve de marche de 72 heures.
Entièrement traitée PVD noir, le boîtier monochrome confère une touche très contemporaine à la Black Ti-Bridge. Cette création techniquement exceptionnelle ne sera produite que dans une édition limitée de 250 pièces.

Golden Tourbillon Panoramique Grey Sapphire

Réinterprétant la transparence caractéristique de CORUM depuis 2007, la marque présente la Golden Tourbillon Panoramique avec des saphirs traités PVD gris. Doté d’une réserve de marche de 90 heures, le tourbillon semble triompher sur un trône de crystal, une véritable création horlogère d’exception. La platine et les trois ponts sont entièrement faits de saphir, un matériau très délicat à travailler et résistant à la fois. La couleur légèrement grisée du saphir révèle en partie le mystère de la conception de la pièce tout en accentuant sa force.

Encadrant le mouvement comme une oeuvre d’art, la boîte en or blanc 18kt est sertie de 309 diamants qui accentuent le précieux de ce gardetemps exceptionnel. Quatre glaces saphir offrent une vue imprenable sur ce mouvement exclusif qui bat à une vitesse de 21'600 vibrations par heure.

Reinterpreting transparency, characteristic of CORUM since 2007, the brand presents a Golden Tourbillon Panoramique with grey PVD coated sapphire crystals. Endowed with a 90-hour power reserve, this tourbillon set on a sapphire crystal throne is a truly exceptional creation.
The mainplate and the three bridges are made of sapphire crystal, a very delicate and brittle material. The slightly grey color of the sapphire crystal partly reveals the mystery of the conception and accentuates the strength of the timepiece.

Four sapphire crystal glasses offer the maximum view of this stunning movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour. Framing the movement like a genuine work of art, the white gold case is set with 309 diamonds, accentuating the precious appearance of this exceptional timepiece.

Golden Bridge Lady

Le boîtier de la nouvelle Golden Bridge Lady forme un véritable écrin d’or, de diamants et de saphir mettant en scène le fabuleux calibre.
Affichant des dimensions contemporaines (41mm par 34mm), ce boîtier Golden Bridge Lady - disponible en or rouge ou blanc 18 ct – présente des proportions parfaites adaptées aux fins poignets féminins. Sertis de 108 diamants, les flancs de carrure incurvés soulignent l’aspect précieux de ce garde-temps d’exception. A l’intérieur du boîtier, la vision aérienne du mouvement est renforcée par deux rehauts horizontaux, de part et d’autre du fond saphir, sertis de 72 diamants.
Encadrant le mouvement, ils accentuent encore l’éclat et l’élégance de la Golden Bridge Lady. Au total, le modèle étincelle de plus de 2,5 carats de pierres précieuses, un joyau d’élégance exclusivement réservé aux femmes.
Etanche à 30 mètres, le boîtier est refermé sur la face et le fond par des glaces saphir traitées antireflet et arbore une couronne surmontée d’une applique en nacre blanche. De couleur blanche sur le modèle en or rouge, le bracelet, en véritable crocodile, est noir sur la version en or blanc.

The contemporary-sized (41 x 34 mm) case of the Golden Bridge Lady, available in a choice of 18K red or white gold, is graced with perfect proportions well suited to dainty feminine wrists. The curving case band is set with 108 diamonds, accentuating the precious appearance of this exceptional timepiece. The ethereal vision of the movement nestling inside the case is enhanced by two horizontal flanges arranged on either side of the sapphire crystal case-back and set with 72 diamonds.
Thus framing the movement like a genuine work of art, they further magnify the radiance and elegance of the exquisite Golden Bridge Lady. This epitome of elegance reserved exclusively for women as its name implies, sparkles with more than 2.5 carats of precious stones. Admiral’s Cup GMT 44

Conçue pour être portée au quotidien, l’Admiral’s Cup GMT 44 présente un boîtier de 44mm de diamètre satiné et poli. Disponible en or rouge, en or rouge/acier ou en acier, il abrite un cadran épuré avec date à guichet à 3h.
La minuterie du second fuseau horaire apparaît en périphérie, indiquée par une flèche rouge clairement identifiable. Proposé en blanc ou en noir, le cadran est doté d’un rehaut arborant les 12 flammes nautiques miniaturisées pour rappeler l’ADN de la collection.
Pour verrouiller le boîtier, CORUM propose un fond plein vissé présentant le trophée de l’Admiral’s Cup gravé, ou une version avec glace saphir permettant d’admirer le jeu des trains de rouages.
Disponible en véritable crocodile ou dans le même métal que le boîtier, le bracelet est spécialement conçu pour offrir un confort au porté optimal.
L’étanchéité des versions en acier et acier/or rouge est garantie à 100 mètres, celles en or rouge à 50 mètres.
Le mouvement mécanique CO383 à remontage automatique offre les fonctions heures, minutes, secondes et date en plus du second fuseau horaire.

Designed for daily wear, the Admiral’s Cup GMT 44 features a 44mm-diameter satin-brushed and polished case. It is available in red gold, red gold/steel and steel versions framing a pure, understated dial with a date window at 3 o’clock.
The second time-zone markings appear around the rim, pointed to by a clearly identifiable red arrow. The white or black dial is rimmed with a flange bearing the 12 miniaturized nautical pennants serving as a reminder of the collection’s genetic heritage.
To secure the case, CORUM has fitted it with a solid screw-down back engraved with the Admiral’s Cup trophy, or a version with a sapphire crystal window enabling one to admire the gear trains in action.
Whether a genuine crocodile leather strap or a bracelet in the same metal as the case, the wristband is specially designed to ensure optimal comfort. The water resistance of the steel and steel/red gold versions is guaranteed to 100 meters, and that of the red gold variation to 50 meters.
The mechanical self-winding CO383 movement powers hour, minute, seconds and date functions, in addition to the dual time-zone display.
Equipped with an oscillating weight engraved with the CORUM brand name, it boasts a 42-hour power reserve and features rhodium-plated finishes.

Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 50 LHS

Les créateurs et maîtres horlogers de CORUM ont souhaité créer l’instrument de mesure des temps courts le plus efficient qui soit. Ils y sont parvenus en élargissant la taille du boîtier à 50 mm de diamètre.
L’espace libéré a ainsi permis de positionner confortablement les index, les compteurs et les autres indications indissociables de la fonction de chronographe. Ce choix conceptuel s’est également traduit par la suppression du microcadran des heures du chronographe. En effet, cette complication s’appliquant par définition aux temps courts, les créateurs se sont focalisés sur les minutes et les secondes pour un résultat d’une grande lisibilité.
L’Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 50 LHS abrite le calibre CO 753 (7750), mouvement chronographe mécanique à remontage automatique certifié chronomètre par le COSC, un gage de précision et de fiabilité.
Doté d’une réserve de marche de 42 heures et battant à 28'800 alternances/heure, il offre les fonctions heures, minutes, petite seconde et date en plus de la fonction chronographe.

The CORUM designers and master-watchmakers wanted to create the most efficient possible short-time measuring instrument. They achieved this by broadening the case size to a diameter of 50 mm.
The space thus created enabled them to comfortably position the hour-markers, counters and other indications inseparable from the chronograph function. This conceptual choice also led to the elimination of the chronograph hour subdial.
Since this complication is by definition focused on defining short times, the designers decided to concentrate on the minutes and seconds to ensure optimal legibility.
The chronograph is a refined and technically demanding complication. The Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 50 LHS houses the CO 753 Calibre (7750), a mechanical self-winding chronograph chronometer-certified by the COSC, a sure token of precision and reliability.
Endowed with a 42-hour power reserve and beating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it features hour, minute, small seconds and date functions in addition to the chronograph function.
