Etanche à 50 mètres, visible dans l’obscurité grâce à des aiguilles et des index recouverts de Superluminova, dotée de poussoirs et d’une couronne vissés, résistante aux chocs, elle est conçue pour des conditions météorologiques et physiques les plus extrêmes.
Réalisée selon les souhaits du pilote, la Jacky Ickx est le plus bel  exemple de montres dédiées au sport automobile classique. Elle propose toutes les fonctions indispensables à un coureur automobile. Le chronographe d’abord, qui, outre un compteur 60 minutes à 9h, dispose de deux particularités : à 6h, le compteur 24 heures, unique au monde, permet de savoir à tout moment où en est la course ; la fonction retour en vol (flyback) quant à elle, est prévue pour effectuer une nouvelle mesure chronométrique sans devoir remettre les aiguilles à zéro.

1000 Miglia GT XL Chrono Split Second

Son cadran argent a été entièrement redessiné pour offrir quatre compteurs de tailles et de designs différents. Les fonctions heures, minutes sont ainsi complétées par une petite seconde à 9h et une date circulaire à 3h. Par ailleurs, un compteur 12 heures à 6h et 30 minutes à 12h décomposent la fonction chronographe, auxquels s’ajoutent deux trotteuses centrales.Deux trotteuses, car le chronographe est ici doté d’une seconde rattrapante : la première, chapeautée d’une flèche rouge – la couleur symbole des 1000 Miglia – est l’aiguille habituelle du chronographe ; l’autre est la rattrapante.
Ce remarquable mouvement à remontage automatique prend place dans un boîtier en or rose de 44 mm de diamètre. Ce métal précieux confère à l’ensemble une touche de classicisme dans un univers sportif, lequel est encore accentué par l’échelle tachymétrique gravée sur la lunette. Armée d’une réserve de marche de 42 heures, cette nouvelle 1000 Miglia GT XL Chrono Split Second est disponible avec bracelet en alligator équipé d’une boucle déployante sécurisée. Série limitée à 500 exemplaires.

Its silvery dial has been entirely redesigned to accommodate four counters of varying sizes and designs. The hour and minute functions are complemented by a small second subdial at 9 o’clock and a pointer-type date indication at 3 o’clock; while a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock jointly display the chronograph function, along with two central second hands.These two hands ascertain that this is a split-second chronograph model: the first, tipped with a red arrow echoing the 1000 Miglia race emblem, is the conventional chronograph second hand; while the other is the split-second hand.
This remarkable self-winding movement is housed within a 44 mm-diameter case in rose gold, a precious metal that lends a classical touch to the sporting nature of this model – a propensity further accentuated by the tachometric scale engraved around the bezel. Endowed with a 42-hour power reserve, the new 1000 Miglia GT XL Chrono Split Second comes on an alligator leather strap equipped with a safety folding clasp, and is issued in a limited edition of 500 exceptional pieces.

L.U.C Lunar Big Date

La phase de Lune est ici associée aux fonctions heures et minutes centrales, grande date à 12h et petite seconde à 4h30.
Le calibre manufacture L.U.C 96 LD à remontage automatique est logé dans un boîtier cossu de 42 mm en or rose 18 ct, et habillé d’un cadran argenté élégamment constellé d’index en chiffres arabes.
La vision de la Lune vue de la Terre change au cours de sa révolution : la face visible peut être complètement éclairée par le Soleil (pleine Lune), entièrement plongée dans la nuit (nouvelle Lune), ou seulement partiellement éclairée (diverses phases de la Lune). L'intervalle entre deux phases identiques de la Lune – appelé mois ou révolution synodique – est égal à 29 jours, 12 heures, 44 minutes et 2,8 secondes.
Deux barillets superposés coaxiaux assurent une énergie 65 heures durant au cœur du calibre, battant à 28'800 alternances par heure. Le mouvement, certifié par le Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC), est visible à travers le fond ouvert.

The moon phase is associated here with the central hour and minute hands, a large date display at 12 o’clock and a small seconds indication between 4 and 5 o’clock.
The proprietary self-winding L.U.C Calibre 96 LD is housed with a generous 42 mm case in 18-carat rose gold framing a silvered guilloché dial elegantly studded with Arabic numerals. The vision of the Moon seen from Earth changes in time with its rotation: its visible side may be completely lit up by the Sun (full Moon), entirely plunged into the dark (new Moon) or only partially illuminated (various moon phases).
The interval between two identical moon phases – called a month or a synodical revolution – is equivalent to 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.8 seconds.
Two stacked co-axial barrels ensures a 65-hour supply of energy to the movement with its balance oscillating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Chronometer-certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), the movement is visible through the exhibition case-back.

Classic Racing

Son moteur, un mouvement chronographe à remontage automatique, à la réserve de marche de 42 heures et certifié chronomètre COSC, offre les fonctions heures, minutes, petite seconde à 3h et date instantanée dans un guichet à 6h. Les marqueurs des heures rappellent les marquages qui se trouvaient sur les compteurs des voitures anciennes, tels que compte-tours et indicateurs de vitesse. La fonction chronographe, quant à elle, est accessible par deux boutons-poussoirs à 2h et 4h qui commandent la trotteuse centrale, un compteur 12 heures à 6h et un compteur 30 minutes à 9h.
Enfin, une échelle tachymétrique gravée sur la lunette vissée achève de faire de cette pièce un outil indispensable pour tous les passionnés de vitesse et les amoureux de belle mécanique.
Côté habillage, l’imposant boîtier or rose de 47.80 mm est associé au fameux bracelet caoutchouc profilé Dunlop Racing des années 1960. Les poussoirs rectangulaires intégrés sont en acier surmoulé de caoutchouc noir, tout comme la couronne vissée, qui représente un pneu et sur laquelle une applique en métal portant un volant, enseigne de la collection Classic Racing est apposée.
Sur le côté du boîtier, les lignes gravées dans l’or rose évoquent les ailettes de refroidissement qui se trouvaient sur le bloc moteur des voitures anciennes. Ce motif est repris sur le cadran.

Its “motor”, a mechanical self-winding chronograph movement with a 42-hour power reserve and COSC chronometer certification, drives the hour and minute functions, along with small seconds at 3 o’clock and an instant-jump date display through a window at 6 o’clock.
The hour-markers are reminiscent of the markings on classic car dashboard instruments, such as rev counters and speedometers. The chronograph function is operated by two pushbuttons at 2 and 4 o’clock controlling the central second hand, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock. Finally, a tachometric scale engraved on the screw-down bezel further contributes to making this model the indispensable instrument for all those with a love of high speed and finely tuned mechanisms.
In terms of its bodywork, the imposing 47.80 mm rose gold case is fitted with the famous rubber strap featuring the 1960s Dunlop Racing tyre-read motif. The rectangular integrated pushers are in black rubber-moulded stainless steel, as is the screw-lock crown reminiscent of a tyre and adorned with a metal appliqué bearing the Classic Racing collection steering-wheel emblem.
The lines engraved in the rose-gold sides of the case evoke the cooling fans found on the engine block of classic cars, and this motif is echoed on the dial.

L.U.C XPS

Pour répondre à toutes les envies des hommes épris de belle mécanique horlogère, Chopard a doté sa nouvelle L.U.C XPS d’un fond en glace saphir permettant d’admirer le mouvement L.U.C 12.96 et ses ponts décorés « Côtes de Genève ». Nouveauté également, l’indication des secondes, qui prend place à 6h, sur un cadran d’une sobre élégance.
En or gris 18ct avec cadran noir ou en or rose 18ct avec cadran argenté, ces deux nouvelles déclinaisons allient à la perfection esthétique et technicité et bénéficient de la certification du Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC).

In response to the wishes of men with a taste for fine horological mechanisms, Chopard has equipped its new L.U.C XPS with a sapphire crystal back providing an admirable view of the L.U.C 12.96 movement and its bridges adorned with a straight “Côtes de Genève” motif.
The other new feature is the seconds indication that now appears at 6 o’clock on the elegantly understated dial. Crafted in 18-carat white gold with a black dial or in 18-carat rose gold with a silvered dial, these two new variations embodying an ideal blend of aesthetic appeal and technical performance are both duly certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

L.U.C Twist

Some watches immediately capture one’s attention and the new L.U.C Twist with its monochrome dial, off-centred display and crown specially placed at 4 o’clock definitely falls in this category.
If the display of the hours and the minutes - Dauphine hands in white gold on a black dial or in rose gold on a silver dial depending on the model – is at the centre, the small seconds display is placed at 7 o’clock.
