SEA - DWELLER DEEPSEA

Montre des profondeurs extrêmes, garantie étanche à 3900 mètres, la Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA a nécessité la conception d’un boîtier à l’architecture inédite, le RINGLOCK SYSTEM. Cette innovation brevetée par Rolex repose sur la combinaison de trois éléments:
• L’anneau à haute performance Placé à l’intérieur de la carrure de la montre entre la glace et le fond du boîtier, l’anneau en acier inoxydable à haute performance dopé à l’azote supporte à lui seul la pression exercée par l’eau sur la glace et le fond du boîtier. La carrure, quant à elle, est en acier 904L.
• La glace saphir Pour résister à la pression, la glace en saphir de synthèse est légèrement bombée et sensiblement plus épaisse que sur les autres modèles Oyster.
• Le fond du boîtier Le fond du boîtier est en alliage de titane, un matériau inoxydable extrêmement résistant. Il est maintenu contre l’anneau par une bague en acier 904L. La valve à hélium est en acier inoxydable à haute performance.
Sa taille a été adaptée aux dimensions du boîtier pour offrir une étanchéité optimale. Elle permet aux gaz qui se sont infiltrés dans la montre lors de la plongée en caisson de s’échapper sans risque au cours de la remontée.
La couronne de remontoir Triplock, munie de trois joints et vissée au boîtier, vient parfaire cet ingénieux système d’étanchéité.

La Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA est équipée d’une lunette tournante unidirectionnelle avec disque en CERACHROM noir gradué 60 minutes, qui permet au plongeur de lire son temps d’immersion avec précision.
Gravés dans le CERACHROM, les chiffres et les graduations font l’objet d’un dépôt de platine selon une technique PVD brevetée par Rolex.
Le zéro de la graduation, matérialisé par un triangle, est visible plus longtemps de nuit et dans les fonds marins grâce à une capsule contenant une nouvelle matière luminescente émettant dans une couleur bleue.
Le cadran Dans un souci de lisibilité, les index et les aiguilles, en or, sont élargis et partiellement recouverts de la même nouvelle matière luminescente émettant dans une couleur bleue.
Le mouvement La Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA est équipée d’un mouvement 3135 réputé pour sa précision chronométrique, sa fiabilité et sa robustesse, et muni d’un spiral PARACHROM aux très grandes propriétés de résistance aux chocs et aux champs magnétiques. Certifié Chronomètre par le Contrôle officiel suisse des Chronomètres (COSC), ce mouvement jouit d’une réserve de marche de 48 heures.

A watch developed for extreme depths, guaranteed waterproof to 3,900 metres (12,800 feet), the Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA required the design of a case with a unique architecture, the RINGLOCK SYSTEM. This innovation patented by Rolex consists of a combination of three distinctive features:
• The high-performance ring Set inside the middle case of the watch between the crystal and the case back, the high-performance nitrogen-alloyed stainless steel ring withstands the pressure exerted by water on the crystal and the case back. The middle case is made from 904L steel.
• The sapphire crystal To resist pressure, the synthetic sapphire crystal is slightly domed and substantially thicker than the crystals of other Oyster models.
• The case back The case back is made of a titanium alloy, an extremely resistant stainless material. It is held in place against the high-performance ring by means of a 904L-steel ring.
The helium valve is made of high-performance stainless steel. Its size is adapted to the dimensions of the case to achieve optimal waterproofness. The helium valve is a safety feature which, during the decompression phase, releases the gases that infiltrate into the watch during caisson dives.

The Triplock winding crown, equipped with three seals and screwed onto the case, completes this ingenious waterproof system.
The Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA is equipped with a unidirectional rotatable bezel with a 60-minute graduated black CERACHROM disc that allows the diver to precisely track his dive time.
Engraved in the CERACHROM, the numerals and the graduations are filled with platinum through the use of a PVD technique patented by Rolex.
The zero marker of the graduated bezel, represented by a triangle, is visible longer at night or in the depths of the ocean thanks to a capsule containing a new luminescent material that emits a blue glow.
The dial To enhance legibility, the gold indexes and hands are wider and partially coated with the same new luminescent material and also emit a blue colour.
The movement The Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA is equipped with calibre 3135, known for its chronometric precision, its reliability and its robustness; it also features a PARACHROM hairspring with high resistance to shocks and magnetic fields. Certified as a chronometer by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), the movement has a 48-hour power reserve.

 

Day-Date II

LE BOÎTIER : Taillé dans un bloc d’or jaune, gris et Everose 18 ct ou de platine, le boîtier de la Day-Date II offre un diamètre de 41 mm qui allie confort et grande finesse esthétique. Doté d’une lunette cannelée ou lisse, il est étanche à 100 mètres.
LE MOUVEMENT : La Day-Date II est équipée du nouveau mouvement 3156, entièrement conçu et fabriqué par Rolex. Muni du spiral PARACHROM aux très grandes propriétés de résistance aux chocs et aux champs magnétiques ainsi que du nouveau parechocs PARAFLEX, il est certifié Chronomètre par le Contrôle officiel suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) et jouit d’une autonomie de 48 heures.
LE CADRAN : La Day-Date II se pare de nouveaux cadrans classiques ou audacieux.
LE BRACELET : La Day-Date II est équipée d’un nouveau bracelet Super-President avec fermoir invisible Crownclasp, qui offre un confort optimal au porter.

CASE : The Day-Date II case is crafted from a block of 18 ct yellow, white or Everose gold, or platinum. With a diameter of 41 mm, it is comfortable to wear and aesthetically pleasing. Fitted with a fluted or polished bezel, it is waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet).
MOVEMENT : The Day-Date II is equipped with the new calibre 3156, designed and manufactured entirely by Rolex. It is fitted with new PARAFLEX shock absorbers as well as a PARACHROM hairspring, extremely resistant to shocks and magnetic fields. Certified as a chronometer by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), it has a power reserve of 48 hours.
DIAL : The Day-Date II features new dials, available with either traditional or more contemporary designs.
BRACELET : For optimal comfort, the Day-Date II is equipped with a new Super-President bracelet and a Crownclasp, the Rolex patented invisible clasp.
