Le modèle KonTiki que portait le chercheur Thor Heyerdahl lors de sa célèbre expédition dans le Pacifique fête son 50ème anniversaire.
Les contours de l’atoll Raroia, destination de l’épopée polynésienne, ornent le cadran, tandis que la couture au point de croix du bracelet rappelle les cordages utilisés pour construire le radeau KonTiki, ainsi nommé en hommage au dieu soleil du même nom.
Une édition limitée à 50 exemplaires, réservée aux aventuriers contemporains.

Eterna is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the KonTiki model worn by the explorer Thor Heyerdahl during his famous expedition in the Pacific.
The dial is decorated with the outline of the Raroia atoll, destination of the epic voyage, while the cross-stitching on the strap recalls the ropes used to build the KonTiki raft, named after the eponymous sun god.
This limited edition of 50 is reserved for contemporary explorers.
