Chronoscope «MV AGUSTA NERA»

Dans la continuité des modèles présentés en 2008, le modèle « Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale Nera » incarne encore davantage l’extrême virilité évoquée ci-dessus, en s’inspirant d’éléments caractéristiques de la moto Brutale. Avec un design sportif et très masculin, la montre est dotée du fameux mouvement manufacturé JR1000 décoré à la main, qui se laisse admirer par le biais du fond transparent fumé adorné du logo MV Agusta.
La boîte, offrant de généreuses dimensions de 43 x 43mm, est intégralement recouverte de caoutchouc. Le cadran reprend le design d’une jante de moto. Il est composé d’un élément unique, frappé, avec son chronographe et indexes en relief, accentuant l’aspect visuel de profondeur.
Les compteurs du chronographe reprennent les codes sportifs des compteurs du tableau de bord de la moto. La petite seconde à 3 heures, avec son disque tournant et ses chiffres arabes, contribue également à l’aspect agressif de la montre, tout comme les rappels de la couleur rouge que l’on retrouve sur le cadran.
La lunette, les poussoirs et le fond de boîte transparent sont en titane, traités de PVD. L’indication du tachymètre a été rajoutée sur la lunette. La couronne ainsi qu’une plaquette latérale gravée JEANRICHARD en titane viennent compléter l’habillage de la montre. Les boutons poussoirs finement adaptés à la forme de la boîte permettent un grand confort au porté du poignet. Le bracelet en veau, sur piqué avec du fil rouge, est intégré à la boîte grâce à un insert spécifique.

In the same tradition as the models introduced in 2008, the “Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale Nera” takes inspiration from the characteristic elements of the Brutale motorcycle and embodies to an even greater degree the extreme virility referred to above. with its sporty and extremely masculine design, the watch comes with JEANRICHARD’s famous hand-decorated manufacture movement JR1000 which can be admired through the smoky transparent back decorated with the MV Agusta logo.
The generously-sized case (43 x 43 mm) is entirely covered in rubber. the stamped dial mimics the design of a motorcycle wheel rim and is composed of a single element with a raised chronograph and markers to accentuate the visual idea of depth. the chronograph’s counters refl ect the sporty aesthetic of the instruments on a motorcycle dashboard. the subsidiary seconds located at 3h, with its turning disk and Arabic numerals, adds to the watch’s aggressive visual design. So do the touches of red on the dial.
The bezel, the pushbuttons and the transparent back are all PVD titanium. A tachymeter was added to the bezel. the watch’s fi nishing touches include the crown as well as a JEANRICHARD engraved titanium plate. the push-buttons were designed to fi t the shape of the case, making the watch extremely comfortable to wear. the calfskin watchband has visible red stitching and is attached to the case using a special insert.

PARAMOUNT TIME SQUARE

Fidèle à sa tradition d’innovation, la marque horlogère de la Chaux-de-Fonds a ouvert une nouvelle voie dans le domaine des complications horlogères. Preuve en est la Paramount Time Square. En développant le JR1100, déclinaison du célèbre mouvement de base JR1000, les maîtres horlogers neuchâtelois confèrent une insolite liberté à l’aiguille des heures, qui évolue désormais sur un carré.
Au fil du temps, l’indicateur des heures à trois pointes (rouge, bleue et noire) se déplace sur une trajectoire quadrangulaire en tournant sur lui-même.
Le système de l’heure carrée repose sur un train de renvois et un engrenage planétaire.

La prise de force est effectuée sur la roue des heures et le couple est transmis au planétaire. Celui-ci, à l’instar de la roue des heures, réalise deux rotations complètes par jour. La trajectoire de l’heure carrée trouve quant à elle son origine dans le principe des hypocycloïdes, courbes décrites par la trajectoire d’un point fixé à un cercle, qui roule sans glisser sur un autre cercle (dit directeur) et à l’intérieur de celui-ci. Dans le cas de la montre Paramount Time Square, le satellite est entraîné par le planétaire et engrène avec la couronne extérieure fixe. Comme le satellite compte quatre fois moins de dents que la couronne extérieure, une dent (ou tout autre point situé sur la périphérie du satellite) parcourrait une hypocycloïde à quatre points de rebroussement, aussi appelée astroïde, une forme qui se rapproche sensiblement de celle d’un carreau de jeux de cartes.
En revanche, la trajectoire d’un point situé au centre du satellite formerait logiquement un cercle. Les ingénieurs de JEANRICHARD en ont donc déduit qu’il devait exister sur ce rayon un point particulier qui se déplacerait selon une courbe intermédiaire entre l’astroïde et le cercle.
C’est précisément sur ce point que repose l’indicateur des heures à trois branches de la Paramount Time Square, dont la trajectoire épouse au mieux les formes d’un carré aux coins arrondis. D’où la notion d’heure carrée.

Loyal to its tradition of innovation, the watch brand based in La Chaux-de-Fonds has explored uncharted territory in the field of horological complications, a path admirably exemplified in the Paramount Time Square. In developing the JR1100, a variation on the famous JR1000 movement, the master-watchmakers from Neuchâtel have turned a whole new corner by setting the hour hand free in an extraordinary and audacious way: it now moves over a square.
As time passes, the three-pointed red, blue and black rotating hour indicator advances along the sides of a square.
The “square hour” system is based on a wheelwork and planetary gears. The force is drawn from the hour wheel and the torque is transmitted to the planetary gears. Like the hour wheel, the planetary gears make two complete rotations each day.

The “square hour” trajectory is based on the principle of hypocycloids, which are curves described by the trajectory of a fixed point on a circle rolling (without sliding) along the inside of another circle (the guide). In the case of the Paramount Time Square watch, the outer planet gear is moved by the other planetary gears and meshes with the annulus.
Since the outer planet gear has four times fewer teeth than the annulus, one tooth (or any other point on the edge of the gear) traverses a hypocycloid with four cusps, also called an astroid, a shape which closely resembles the diamond in a deck of playing cards.
In contrast, a point located at the centre of the planet gear would traverse a circle. So the engineers at JEANRICHARD deduced from this that somewhere along the radius from the centre to the edge of the circle, there should be a particular point that would traverse an intermediate curve between the astroid and the circle.
It is on this point that the Paramount Time Square’s three-pointed hour indicator is placed, and its trajectory closely matches the shape of a square with rounded corners.
Hence the idea of the “square hour.”

 

BRESSEL LADY « JULIETTE »

La Bressel Lady « Juliette » mêle de façon idyllique le temps et les sentiments. Le cadran raffiné vêtu de nacre blanche donne naissance à une arabesque sentimentale « je t’aime, un peu, beaucoup, à la folie… » enrobant la petite seconde à 7h et la réserve de marche à 4h30.
Le petit cadran des heures et minutes placé à 12h est illuminé par un pavage de 127 diamants et se dissocie ainsi des lettres manuscrites sentimentales.
Au cœur même du garde-temps, le mouvement JR1000 permet cet affichage sophistiqué de la lecture du temps.

The Bressel Lady “Juliette” achieves an idyllic blend of time and emotions. Displayed across its elegant white mother-of-pearl dial is a sentimental fl ourish, “ je t’aime, un peu, beaucoup, à la folie…” winding its way past the subsidiary seconds at 7h and the power reserve at 4h30.
The small hour and minutes dial located at 12h is illuminated by a paved path of 127 diamonds, separating itself from the sentimental hand-written letters.
The heart of the timepiece houses the JR1000 movement which powers the watch’s sophisticated time display.

Chronoscope « Brutale »

« Brutale » synonyme en italien d’extrême virilité et de puissance, est le nom donné à l’une des deux lignes emblématiques de motos MV Agusta. La collection sportive de JEANRICHARD « Chronoscope » s’approprie les codes de la moto Brutale.
Ainsi, la nouvelle boîte de la Chronoscope, offrant de généreuses dimensions de 43 x 43mm, s’habille d’une matière hautement résistante : le caoutchouc, technique innovante dans l’industrie horlogère, donne ainsi une touche de légèreté à la montre.
Le cadran, quant à lui, se pare de fibre de carbone, illustrant 3 compteurs inspirés du tableau de bord de la moto. Les touches de rouge utilisées font écho aux couleurs des motos de MV Agusta.
La collection se compose de deux modèles chronographes : sur le boîtier à l’âme d’acier revêtu de caoutchouc, le premier comporte une lunette, des boutons poussoirs et une couronne en Titane ; et le second les décline en or rose. Ces derniers, au design sportif et très masculin, sont dotés du fameux mouvement manufacturé JR1000 décoré à la main, se laissant admirer par le biais du fond transparent fumé adorné du logo MV Agusta.
Les boutons poussoirs finement adaptés à la forme de la boîte permettent un grand confort au porté du poignet. L’exclusivité de ces deux modèles se traduit par une série limitée et numérotée de 290 pièces (ce chiffre correspond à la vitesse maximale atteinte par la moto MV Agusta Brutale).

“Brutale”, an Italian word synonymous with extreme virility and power, is the name given to one of the two emblematic lines of MV Agusta motorbikes.
The JEANRICHARD “Chronoscope” collection reflects the signature features of the Brutale motorcycle. The new generously sized 43 x 43 case is clothed in a highly resistant rubber that gives the watch a lighter touch. The dial is clad in carbon fibre highlighting three counters inspired by the motorcycle dashboard. Several red accents echo the classic colours of MV Agusta motorbikes.
The collection is composed of two chronograph models: one with a rubber-clad steel case featuring a bezel, pushers and crown in titanium; and the second with the latter elements in rose gold.
These eminently sporting and masculine models are equipped with the famous hand-decorated JR1000 proprietary movement that can be admired through the tinted glass exhibition back adorned with the MV Agusta logo. The pushers are beautifully tailored to the shape of the case and thus ensure extreme comfort on the wrist.
The exclusive nature of these two models is expressed through a limited, numbered edition of 290 (a figure corresponding to the top speed of an MV AGUSTA Brutale motorcycle).

2TIMEZONES

Le premier fuseau, indiquant l’heure locale, est affiché de manière classique, heure, minute et seconde centrée. Situé à douze heures, un guichet signale l’heure du deuxième fuseau avec un affichage AM/PM pour éviter toute confusion.
A six heures un second guichet désigne l’une des vingt-quatre villes de référence représentant les différents fuseaux horaires
Les deux couronnes à 3 et 9 heures renforcent l’originalité de cette pièce. La première, une couronne vissée, permet de remonter la montre, corriger la date et régler l’heure. La modification de l’indication de la ville se fait à l’aide de la deuxième couronne, située à 9 heures.
Un procédé mécanique a été spécialement développé pour rendre possible l’actionnement différencié de l’aiguille des heures du fonctionnement général du mouvement par simple pression sur les deux poussoirs placés à gauche de la carrure du boîtier. Ce système permet ainsi de faire avancer ou rétrograder l’aiguille des heures de manière indépendante pour un réglage rapide du fuseau horaire local.
Dotée d’un fond en saphir permettant d’apercevoir le fonctionnement et les décorations du mouvement manufacturé, cette pièce dont la boite se pare d’acier, de caoutchouc sur sa lunette et de PVD sur ses boutons poussoirs, est proposée sur un cadran gris ardoise structuré par un décor damier, est étanche à 100 mètres.

The first time zone indicating local time is shown in a classic way with central hour, minute and seconds hands. Meanwhile, an aperture at 12 o’clock displays the time in the second time zone with an AM/PM indication to avoid any confusion.
A second aperture at 6 o’clock shows one of the 24 reference cities for the various time zones. Two crowns at 3 and 9 o’clock accentuate the originality of this model. The first, a screw-locked crown, serves to wind the watch, correct the date and set the time.
The city indication is modified using the second crown at 9 o’clock. A dedicated mechanism has been developed to make it possible to adjust the hour hand separately from the movement as a whole, simply by pressing the two pushers along the left-hand side of the case.
This system can move the hour hand forwards or backwards independently to enable rapid adjustment of the local time zone.
Fitted with a sapphire crystal case-back revealing the mechanical intricacies and the refined decoration of the proprietary movement, this model featuring a case clothed in steel, rubber on the bezel and PVD on the button pushers, comes with a slate grey dial structured by a checkerboard motif and is water-resistant to 100 metres.

Bressel Lady

Misant sur une géométrie insolite, les différentes fonctions s’affichent autour d’un diamant central : les heures et les minutes s’écoulent sur un axe décentré, tandis que la date apparaît à 3h00.
Une courbe marque les contours de la petite seconde à 7h00 et poursuit ses ondulations jusqu’à la réserve de marche, située à 4h30, soulignant ainsi le temps de fonctionnement restant avant le prochain armage.
Le cœur qui bat dans cette création permet cet affichage sophistiqué. Imaginé et réalisé par la Manufacture JEANRICHARD, le mouvement mécanique à remontage automatique JR1000 peut recevoir toutes sortes de constructions modulaires, celle-ci en étant l’une des plus récentes démonstrations.
Le fond en saphir permet d’admirer la complexité et la beauté du mécanisme décoré.

Adopting an unusual geometrical approach, the various functions are arranged around a central diamond: the hours and minutes pass by on an off-centred axis, while the date appears at 3 o’clock.
A curve marks the contours of the small seconds at 7 o’clock and extends its undulations up to the power-reserve display between 4 and 5 o’clock, thereby underscoring the running time remaining before the next winding is required.
The beating heart of this creation ably serves this sophisticated display. Developed and produced by the Manufacture JEANRICHARD, the mechanical self-winding JR1000 movement can be enriched with all kinds of modular constructions, this being one of the most recent demonstrations.
The sapphire case-back enables one to admire the beauty and complexity of the decorated mechanism.
