La montre Ballon bleu de Cartier tourbillon volant est véritablement un instrument de haute horlogerie, outil sur mesure d’Un diamètre de 46 mm dont l’ouverture, le cabochon extradé, la finesse Profilée font la signature Cartier.
Mouvement mécanique Manufacture à remontage manuel, le calibre 9452 MC est constitué de 142 pièces et de 19 rubis. D’une épaisseur de 4,5 mm, il est animé d’un tourbillon volant avec indication de la seconde par la raquette en forme de C. D’un diamètre de 10 lignes 3/4, il bat à raison de 21 600 alternances à l’heure et dispose d’une réserve de marche de 50 heures.
Au lieu de placer la cage de tourbillon de manière traditionnelle, protégée entre les ponts et la platine du mouvement, le tourbillon volant de la montre Ballon bleu de Cartier a été conçu afin d’en magnifier l’esthétique.

The ballon bleu de Cartier flying tourbillon watch is truly an instrument OF high watchmaking, a large timepiece with a diameter OF 46 mm and for which the opening, the outstanding cabochon and profiled refinement make this an unmistakable Cartier creation.

A manufacture-crafted mechanical movement with manual winding, the 9452 MC calibre is comprised of 142 parts and 19 jewels. Measuring 4.5 mm in depth, it is driven by a flying tourbillon with its C-shaped index indicating the seconds. With a diameter of 10 and ¾ lines, it beats at the rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of 50 hours. Instead of placing the tourbillon carriage in its traditional position, protected between the bridges and the main plate of the movement, the tourbillon on the Ballon bleu de Cartier watch has been designed in order to maxi- mise its aesthetic appeal.

Véritable innovation horlogère, ce modèle taille Xl de la montre santos triple 100 étrenne un mécanisme de cadran rotatif conjugué à un mouvement squelette ; déploiement spectaculaire de faces cachées à suivre d’un tour de remontoir.
Un ouvrage d’art entièrement serti, édition limitée et numérotée de 20 exemplaires qui fait surgir le tempps en images, un temps hypnotique et magique.

Secret de fabrication : des prismes mobiles en or gris 18 carats, actionnés simultanément depuis la couronne, sont entraînés par un système de micro rouages leur permettant de basculer progressivement dans un sens comme dans l’autre et de laisser apparaître trois faces de cadrans différents.
Séquences : alternance successive d’une face classique aux 12 chiffres romains, d’une face entièrement pavée de diamants ronds et de saphirs noirs tel un damier joaillier, puis d’une face animalière gravée d’une tête de tigre dont la réalisation minutieuse nécessite plus de 40 heures de travail.

Engrenage : le mécanisme de cette version inouïe de la santos triple 100 est associé à un mouvement mécanique manufacture à remontage manuel squelette décoré à la main et assemblé à la manufacture cartier.

In a true illustration of watch-making innovation, this extra-large santos triple 100 model combines a rotating-dial mechanism with a skeleton movement for the very first time; with a simple turn of the winding crown, a spectacular display of hidden faces unfurls. A work of Art entirely set with precious stones, this numbered edition limited to 20 timepieces brings time to life in images, furnishing it with a magical and hypnotic hue.

Manufacturing secret: mobile prisms in 18 carat white gold, activated simultaneously by means of the crown, are driven by a system of miniature gear trains that causes the prisms to swivel gradually in one direction or the other, revealing three different dial faces.
S sequences: the three different dial faces appear in succession: from a classic face featuring 12 roman numerals, to a face completely paved with round diamonds and black sapphires in a marvellous jeweller’s chessboard, followed inally by a face engraved with a tiger’s head, which required over 40 hours’ work and meticulous attention to detail.

Gears: the mechanism of this extraordinary version of the santos triple 100 is combined with a manufacture-crafted, mechanical, skeleton movement with manual winding, which has been decorated by hand and assembled at the cartier manufacture. the watch also boasts a double-barrel movement equipped with a 72-hour power reserve, which can be observed through its transparent case-back.
