Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master II

Le chronographe de régate Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master II est la première montre munie d’un compte à rebours avec mémoire mécanique programmable, qui permet de programmer la montre en fonction de la durée du compte à rebours de chaque régate.
Le compte à rebours peut être programmé de 0 à 10 minutes. Pendant la procédure de départ, il peut être synchronisé sur le compte à rebours officiel. Destiné aux amateurs de yachting comme aux skippers chevronnés, il est un outil indispensable lors des phases de départ des régates.

La Yacht-Master II est équipée d’un nouveau mouvement, le calibre 4160, entièrement conçu et réalisé par Rolex, composé de quelque 360 pièces.
Le coeur du mouvement bat à 28 800 alternances par heure. Il est muni d’un spiral PARACHROM® bleu avec une courbe Breguet, jusqu’à dix fois plus résistant aux chocs et insensible aux champs magnétiques. Cette innovation Rolex confère à la montre une excellente performance chronométrique, certifiée par le Contrôle officiel suisse des Chronomètres (COSC).
La partie du compte à rebours est construite avec une roue à colonne et un embrayage vertical. Le choix de cette architecture exclusive s’inscrit clairement dans la nouvelle génération des mouvements chronographes Rolex.

Les ingénieurs et horlogers de Rolex ont réalisé une véritable prouesse technique en développant une nouvelle fonctionnalité de compte à rebours mécanique programmable. En effet, le système de mémoire mécanique donne au porteur la possibilité de programmer, à l’avance et de manière pérenne, la durée de décomptage du départ d’une régate.
Cela lui permet d’utiliser sa montre dans des régates ayant des procédures de départ différentes.
Automatique, muni d’un rotor Perpetual, le mouvement de la Yacht-Master II dispose d’une réserve de marche de 72 heures.

Taillé dans un seul bloc d’or jaune ou gris 18 carats, le boîtier de la Yacht-Master II a un diamètre de 42,6 mm.
Equipé d’une couronne de remontoir Triplock protégée par des épaulements, le boîtier compte deux poussoirs de part et d’autre de la couronne de remontoir.
Le poussoir start / stop situé à 2 h sert à déclencher et arrêter le compte à rebours.
Le poussoir reset situé à 4 h remplit trois fonctions: programmer, synchroniser et initialiser le compte à rebours. L’innovation porte sur l’interaction entre le boîtier et le mouvement grâce à la lunette Ring Command, qui sert à mettre en oeuvre la programmation de la durée du compte à rebours.
La Yacht-Master II est garantie étanche jusqu’à 100 mètres.

La Yacht-Master II est dotée d’une lunette Ring Command conçue et développée par Rolex.
Tournante sur 90°, cette innovation sert à accéder à la fonction programmation du compte à rebours, puis à verrouiller cette programmation.
Bien que d’une grande complexité sur le plan horloger, cette interaction de la lunette sur le mouvement rend la Yacht-Master II très simple d’utilisation.
La lunette Ring Command est disponible en deux versions : – avec un disque céramique bleu et chiffres gravés en or jaune pour la version en or jaune 18 carats ; – en platine monobloc et chiffres en relief pour la version en or gris 18 carats.

The Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master II regatta chronograph is the first watch to have a programmable countdown feature with a mechanical memory, which gives it the advantage of being able to be set according to the countdown time of each regatta.
Intended for lovers of yachting as well as for experienced skippers, it is an indispensable tool at the starting line of regattas. With the Yacht-Master II, it is possible to program a countdown of 0 to 10 minutes.
During the starting sequences, it can be synchronised to the official countdown.

The Yacht-Master II is equipped with a new movement, the 4160 calibre, consisting of 360 components, entirely designed and manufactured by Rolex. The heart of the movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Its blue PARACHROM® hairspring with a Breguet overcoil is up to 10 times more resistant to shocks and insensitive to magnetic fields.
This Rolex innovation endows the watch with excellent chronometric performance certified by COSC (Contrôle officiel suisse des Chronomètres – Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute).
The countdown mechanism is constructed using a column wheel and a vertical clutch.
The choice of this exclusive architecture is clearly characteristic of the Rolex new-generation chronograph movements.
Rolex engineers and watchmakers achieved an impressive technical feat by developing a new mechanical programmable countdown function.
A mechanical memory system makes it possible for the wearer to program, in advance and permanently (unless it is intentionally modified) the countdown time for the start of a regatta.
The watch can be used in regattas with various starting sequences. Fully automatic, equipped with a Perpetual rotor, the Yacht-Master II movement has a power reserve of 72 hours.

Crafted from a solid block of 18 ct yellow or white gold*, the Yacht-Master II case has diameter of 42.6 mm.
Equipped with a Triplock winding crown protected by shoulders, it has two pushers, one on either side of the winding crown. The start/stop pusher located at the two o’clock position starts and stops the countdown.
The reset pusher located at the four o’clock position has three functions: programming, synchronising and setting the countdown.
The innovation involves the interaction between the case and the movement, thanks to the Ring Command bezel, which is used for programming the duration of the countdown.
The Yacht-Master II is guaranteed waterproof to 100 metres.

The Yacht-Master II is equipped with a Ring Command bezel designed and developed by Rolex. Rotatable 90°, this innovation allows access to the programming function of the countdown, then to the locking of this programming.
Although it is very complex from a watchmaking point of view, this interaction between the bezel and the movement makes the Yacht-Master II extremely easy to use.
The Ring Command bezel is available in two versions : – with a blue ceramic disc having numerals engraved in yellow gold for the 18 ct yellow gold version; – in one-piece platinum with raised numerals for the 18 ct white gold version.

Milgauss

Aujourd'hui, Rolex crée la nouvelle génération de cette montre née dans les années 1950 sous le signe du progrès technologique.

Automatique, munie du rotor Perpetuai et certifiée par le Contrôle officiel suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) , la Milgauss est étanche à 100 mètres.
Disponible en acier sur bracelet Oyster muni d'un fermoir Oysterclasp avec Easylink, elle est dotée d'une trotteuse éclair de couleur orange.
La version anniversaire est munie d'une glace saphir de couleur verte.
